Mrs. Dykes class page

As the year progress, I will be adjusting my teaching style and methods to meet the needs of the students. As I see the students are missing necessary information or are in need of additional time in one area I will be sure we spend time covering that area in class. Often, I find the need to change the way I teach the students to be sure they are really understanding the material.
After reviewing the first quarter, I have decided that all of  my math classes will be taking a weekly quiz. This quiz will cover the material we cover in class for that week and will take place on Friday. This will enable me to assess progress in a test format before we actually take a test. It will also give the students more exposure to FCAT style questions.
